CANECSA highly values its partnerships, which form an essential part of efforts to expand and improve anaesthesiology and critical care training in the CANECSA region.

"Building Anaesthesia Training..." Programme

Through the Irish Aid funded "Building Anaesthesia Training in the ECSA Region" Programme, the College of Surgeons of East, Central and Southern Africa (COSECSA), the Institute of Global Surgery in the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (RCSI), and the College of Anaesthesiologists of Ireland (CAI) work together to build the capacity of CANECSA to address the most significant barrier to safe surgery in the region.

The CANECSA Alliance

CANECSA Alliance organisations work collaboratively to support the establishment of CANECSA. Organisations involved are CANECSA, the Royal College of Anaesthetists (RCoA), the College of Anaesthesiologists of Ireland (CAI), the World Federation of Societies of Anaesthesiologists (WFSA), the Association of Anaesthetists, Oslo University Hospital (OUH) and the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland Institute of Global Surgery (RCSI).

Decker Medicine

CANECSA has an affiliation agreement with the Decker Medicine to deliver a comprehensive educational resource that will influence the teaching and practice of anesthesiologists in the ECSA Region and beyond for the next generation.
